Well, yes. I called the number first and then was given an appointment to go to the job center. It was about a week from the time i called to the appointment. I actually found it odd because the interviewer spent the time filling up the form for me when i could have done it faster myself. But then I applied from Edinburgh so maybe they do things differently.

I applied in Swindon's JobCentre Plus (after phoning to apply and being told I had to come in), and it was the same.  I sat at the desk and answered questions so the interviewer could fill them in.  It was ridiculous.  All they really needed me there for was to verify that I looked like my ID and I had the legal right to work in the UK.  I really could've filled out the application ahead of time and just made an appearance to satisfy the identity check.

That’s everyone’s experience.   ::)

It’s a bit random on who has to attend in person and who has the form mailed to them.  It used to be a spouse visa didn’t have to attend in person but that seems to have change  in the past year.

I really hope so, the last 2 weeks have been harder than the first 2 months!! I've been volunteering 12 hours a day at a horse and donkey rescue just to keep my mind off this whole process  :-\\\\

Good idea to try and get your mind off of it. It’s so hard not to obsess. I’m pretty much stuck at my parents house in the country with a 6 month old baby. Maybe I should go volunteer at the sheep 🐑 farm! Actually, I think one of these farms does goat yoga. 😂 Good luck! You’re so close.

Yeah, I think that they are now requiring spouses to all come in. When I called back in April, they also made me come in (after canceling my appointment twice... that was fun). It took almost a full month after my appointment to get my NiNo, but I have it now  :)
