Does that mean there is nothing to “hold them to the fire” for no benefits from paying for priority. I mean I get that it puts you to the front of the line but how do we know?
On another note I haven’t seen anything on either thread (priority or non) was curious if there is a trend or anything for day of the week or time of day they normally send out decision emails? Any insights into why no one seems to be hearing anything? I figure I am grasping at straws but it’s so emotionally draining each day that goes by without a reply.

You are correct. Priority gets you in front of the non-priority applications. That's it. All bets are off once the application has been assigned to an Entry Clearance Officer.
Decision emails do NOT come at a certain time of day. BUT - UPS collects around 5pm UK time. So for your sanity, you could just check your UPS tracking once at 7pm UK time and know if you'll have your visa in your hands in a couple of days.
Often there are "flurries" as we call them here. No one will hear anything for some time and then all of a sudden, everyone hears in a very short time span. Typically flurries happen at the end of a month. Hopefully you all will have heard long before the end of the month though.
