Sorry to hear you've had a long wait as well. Ah scanning issues...so frustrating but maybe next week will be our week since there seem to be a lot of decisions coming through now!

Thanks for the pm. I have contacted my MP but they said I have to wait for Sheffield to respond to the initial request from over a month ago

That's crazyness.. Our MP got on the phone right away when we contacted them, that's how we knew they never got the initial emails and gave us that other one to use, which ended up in getting a "decision made" email 2 hours later.
I hope you hear something soon

Well that just sucks. I guess it depends on who the MP is. Most (i've seen in past posts) have been quick to reach out. Sorry you have to wait. :(

Does your MP legitimately just not have a phone number or do they have one and they just never answer?

Also, did you manage to get a specific date from them for when they claim they raised our escalation with UKVI?

The MP's office does not give us any information. They said we have to wait for the home office to respond to their request from Jan 31. They do have a phone number but nobody answers so it goes to voicemail. It is setup as an answer phone by default. Unfortunately, we have only been communicating via email

I'm really sorry you got stuck with such a rubbish MP :( I don't know of any channel you can use to formally complain outside of emailing them your feedback which they will probably promptly ignore :(

Not much to report here. My documents were to be delivered to NY this morning, but the biometrics location gave me the wrong shipping address so my documents are being redirected to the new address in NY now. Hopefully they’ll make it soon and I’ll get into the system ASAP!

That's awesome that your "application being prepared" email came so quickly! Seems that the people who were able to do the full upload are moving a lot faster so hopefully your decision will come this week :)

Hopefully it's a quick redirect and they will be received to the correct address today! Fingers crossed!

Just so you’re aware, the ‘application being prepared’ email is just an email to say that they have the documents and your application has been put in the waiting line along with all the other applications.

Before the new system, your processing time count didn’t start until you got that email. Now, we’re not quite sure if the processing time starts from when New York get your application, or when Sheffield get it. No one will actually look at it until the day the decision is made.

Anyway, I would allow for another 30 working days from receiving the email, though it sounds like it could be quicker than that.
