JFKimberley, maybe we've already covered this, but there must be 20 different sour creams and Creme Fraiche in my grocer's shelves. Are you sure none of these suit?
C. Wrong
hahaha I'm going with C.
The closest approximation I've got in terms of flavour is Greek yoghurt or a good quality creme fraiche, neither of which is sour cream. Nothing here is quite the right 'sour'. And certainly nothing is the right consistency. In the US, sour cream can be dolloped (and I don't know what they served in restaurants, but it sometimes came as scooped balls, like an ice cream scoop or melon ball!). Here it is practically poured.
Wasn't that great? Somebody better call the burns unit for Mr. SOS
