My dates are earlier than many recent approvals (I applied online April 15; did the app on Aug 25).
I see a couple of the recent approvals escalated their case.... can you advise on the best way to do this?

I am so sorry, you should have had a decision well before today

I called the Home Office line at 0300 123 2241 (charged at local rate), and followed through the prompts that my application was out of service standards. Don’t follow the COVID prompt or it will hang up on you.
I told them it was beyond the 8 weeks and I wanted to escalate. They took contact details - email, name, phone, and also my UAN. Then told me to wait 10 working days.
