Our BRP arrived this afternoon on the doormat, no knocking or signing required, so that was just under a week. :)

Now I'll have to read back and see what to do with the old one!

Congratulations! I'm pleased for you.

Do you recall which parcel company used for the BRP? We have no intercom and I'm anticipating access problems if someone in our block locks the entry gate. We have frequent access issues except for Royal Mail.

So happy to hear approvals from March finally!  I’m the 28th (and a very straightforward application) so crossing fingers not too much longer....

I'm sorry that we didn't catch who delivered it, but it was just a literal envelope through the door, standard DL type envelope (the long thin ones). We didn't have any other letter-post yesterday but there's no franking at all on the envelope - just a return address - so I'm guessing it wasn't Royal Mail and it probably was the usual people (whoever they are!)

I am coming to the conclusion I will have to wait the full six months for my ILR(M) at this point, so I'm probably going to take a break from the site for a bit. I confess, I was a bit cheeky and used the email posted by another person here to request an update, and that was what I was politely told. So until mid-December, I just need to chillax.

I wish everyone all the best, and I hope the good news continues!

Taking periodic breaks is important for mental health. I'm relieved to see them start processing some apps from earlier in the pandemic, I just wish it was consistent. I'm almost a bit grateful the service standard for FLR is 8 weeks so I could at least use the "out of service standard" help line even if it accomplished nothing. Please take care of yourself!

Got this from the UKVI earlier this week after chasing up my ILR:

Thank you for your email. I can confirm we have received your client’s biometrics and documents. Due to Coronavirus restrictions applicants are currently experiencing longer waiter times than normal. However, our 6-month service standard is still in place and we will be in touch in due course with further information.

So yeah, full 6 months I reckon. Sooo tired of waiting.

That's one of the generic responses many people are getting. It could be before 6 months before you hear something, or just after, who knows. They could be looking at the application right now and a decision could be made this evening or tomorrow. We just do not know.

For now, as usual, they will hide behind these generic email responses.

Thanks for the info. Our BRP arrived this morning! Similarly plain brown envelope no markings etc. Ours was 6 days after the decision email, so within the advised time limit on this last leg of the process at least.

Just curious, does it use your old photo or the one submitted with the IDV App?

Congratulations @battlemagick! Glad to see your approval came in! Cant believe they still have March applications would of thought they had gotten you all already

I cant believe these wait times though honestly probably is just all the stress from waiting but I feel I have seen the least to hear back are from May when I have noticed a few of us had applied making me think May is the forgotten month. Thankfully a FB group I am in been seeing some May come through recently and its steadily making its way through the month so praying we hear soon they seem to be in the first half of May with the IDV submissions on the 26th and 27th of Aug. Keeping fingers crossed especially sinced today was 8 weeks so I dont have a deadline now to focus on so I dont know what to do...

BRP received today shoved through letter box quite late in the day so I assume courier but couldn’t say who! Looks like they missed my middle name so probably need to reach out to them.

Still wishing good thoughts to those waiting, and congratulations to the latest approvals!
