That is a tough call, Persephone. Don't know what I would do in your case, but sure you'll do what's best for you and your family.

My boss pulled me into her office to tell me that the work I do is great and that everyone personally likes me, but that I look miserable.  I was caught off guard and didn't have a prepared lie, so I just told the truth, or part of the truth.  My job is very dull and I would feel a lot differently about if there was just one thing a week that was interesting for me to do.  I didn't mention that I lied on my resume and that I couldn't an interivew prior to dumbing it down, or that I hate the health insurance industry and think that its the very essense of evil.

They've decided that after our investor day that they will 'transition' me out of my job. Well, if I let them.  I'm going to try and put on the best false fase that I can.

Up: DF is not as angry as I thought he would be and just said that it could be good as I'd get unemployment and could just come over the the UK to hang out while we waited for our wedding date.

I hope that all works out for you, Sscarllet!

UP: the past two days have seen two different messages that the post office and a courier have tried to make deliveries. I'm pretty sure it's my biometrics ID and my passport being returned. So this potentially means I have my PSW visa...

IA: part of me really wanted it to take a bit longer since I'm in the middle of applying for other jobs that look far more interesting than my current job. I'm on a temporary contract in a great company, but my actual role is beginning to bore me to death. It's not what I want to do and I don't want to be stuck in this position, but I can't afford to leave it without something else. Once I get my visa, my boss is going to want to put me on a permanent contract, and I really shouldn't complain, but if I was bored of it after 3 months, what is a year going to do to me?!
I urge you to please notice when you are happy, and exclaim or murmur or think at some point, 'If this isn't nice, I don't know what is.' Kurt Vonnegut

Well, you could just not tell him that you've gotten it yet.  ;)

I should have started defrosting the freezer earlier than I did, because I'm starving!  And staying out of the fridge to keep the cool in while I defrost the freezer.  Lol!  I should defrost that bad boy every day, I think.

But it's nearly there & then I'm going to make myself a big salad.  :)

UP: The main baking lady at DH's office is having a birthday on Monday and they've asked if I would bake her something. I bake stuff for them all the time and it's flattering that they enjoy it.

IA: I'm away all weekend and I have no idea what I'm going to make for her!

IA: The (brand new) ball of yarn I am working with has been tangled from the get go! I have to keep stopping every 10-20 stitches to unwind and untangle it.  >:(

UP: I still managed to make a GREAT hat with flower accessories to match in about 3 hours! I'm wearing it now and I LOVE IT!!!!  :D It's super cute.

IA: I was up all night on phone to emergency doctors with severe side effects from pain medication. (Nearly fainted twice, couldn't pee, slept all day, lost appetite, vomiting, all sorts of problems.) So I had to stop taking pain meds.

UP: I can't feel anything AT ALL. So I guess the loss of sensation has helped with the pain. Just feeling some headache and slight nausea now.  :-\\\\
