Part IA, Part UP

UP: We received DH's police certificate for his US visa application only 11 days after posting the request off.

IA: Deciding if we swallow our pride and ask my parents to co sponsor or DD & I have to fly back to the US so I can start working again in order to meet the income requirement...either way it's going to suck 

That's a serious harvest festival.

I have an unbelievable one today! Well, it goes like this:

UP: DH got to start work today!!!! HUZZAAAAHHHH!!!!!

IA: He was supposed to give me a ride to an interview.

UP: BIL offered to take me!

IA: BIL dropped me off at the wrong school for the interview and then drove away, and I didn't have my mobile in order to ring him up to come and get me and take me to the right school. I ended up running down the street trying to get to the other school in time, but I stopped and asked directions and discovered it was miles away and I would never make it in time. 

UP: The people I stopped and asked for directions felt sorry for me, so they went and got their car, came to find me, and took me to my interview, which I made in the nick of time!!!  Turns out they were Jehovah's Witnesses handing out leaflets, though I didn't realise this until they handed me one on my way out of their car.

IA: After the interview, I had to go on a brisk 45 minute walk to get back to the other school where BIL was waiting with the car, and I was wearing new shoes, so my feet are covered in blisters.

UP: After I finally got home, I got a call back for a second interview!

IA: But I already had another interview scheduled for that time and faced a dilemma.

UP: Second interview was rescheduled!

So, uh, it's been an eventful day! And now I have another interview tomorrow, a second interview at the school the day after, another interview the next day and one on the following Monday. And DH is back at work!!!! (But FB friends, please don't post on there about it as I'm not sure who else is getting hired again or what the details are!  )

Thanks! Things are a bit crazy this week with so many interviews and now I have to drive myself to these places or get the bus, since DH and BIL are starting up work again. Wheeeee!  These are problems I can totally handle.

Jewlz sounds like you had a really crazy day and I'm really happy for you, but also thanks for making my day as it gave me a really good chuckle especially when the Jehovah's Witnesses gave you a lift and a leafet too.

I missed that- great news!!!! 

IA: Didn't get invited for an interview for a role that sounded like it could be fun and would be well-paid.

UP: The commute would've been longer than my ideal, and now I don't have to stress about the interview. And, based on their feedback, maybe not so much in the "fun" department, so no huge loss.

ZOMG! What a crazy day! You must be exhausted, but yay! Also really funny that BiL dropped you off at wrong school and then some Jehovahs witnesses gave you a lift!

IA: I've been doing my exercise and following my diet plan as best I can for the past few days and I've not lost any weight and I feel really tired & sluggish.

UP: At least I've not gained any weight

IA: Missed the mailman while I was in the shower, and I can't pick up the package until Thursday morning.

UP: Pretty positive the package is sparkly earrings from the boy!

UP: My flat is sooooooooooooo warm and toasty and efficient. YAY after freezing for the past few winters, this is fantastic!!!
